ABOUT RENO PRO SOCCER

Reno Pro Soccer is building Northern Nevada's next professional sports club - one rooted in community, driven by aspiration, and designed to unite our region through the world's game.

Our mission is to serve Northern Nevada by bringing professional soccer back to Reno, creating exceptional fan experiences, growing a thriving soccer culture, and generating lasting economic and community impact.

More than a team, we're building a club that reflects the pride, resilience, and spirit of Northern Nevada. Every decision we make is centred on creating an unforgettable matchday experience, fostering lifelong supporters, investing in local youth soccer, and creating a place where people from every background feel they belong.

As we prepare to join the professional soccer landscape, our vision extends far beyond the pitch. Our new soccer-specific stadium will become a year-round destination for sport, entertainment, and community events, helping stimulate economic growth, attract visitors, create jobs, and strengthen Reno's identity as one of America's emerging soccer cities.

Whether you've supported soccer your entire life or are discovering the game for the first time, Reno Pro Soccer is your club.

Together, we're building the future of professional soccer in Northern Nevada.

CLUB LEADERSHIP

Behind Reno Pro Soccer is a leadership team with decades of experience spanning professional sports, business, media, law, community leadership, and stadium development. Together, they share a common vision: creating a professional soccer club that Northern Nevada can be proud to call its own.

Todd Davis - Principal Owner

Todd Davis is an entrepreneur, lifelong soccer supporter, and one of the driving forces behind bringing professional soccer back to Northern Nevada.

Inspired by his father, who played professionally for the Rochester Lancers, Todd developed a lifelong passion for the game as both a player and fan, culminating in a collegiate playing career. After building and successfully selling his business, he relocated to Incline Village with his family, where he has become deeply invested in the future of the region.

Todd brings extensive experience in business strategy, finance, long-term planning, and organisational leadership. His vision is to create a sustainable professional soccer club that serves the community for generations while contributing to the continued growth of Northern Nevada.

Wendy Damonte - Chief Executive Officer

Wendy Damonte is an award-winning broadcaster, community leader, and one of Northern Nevada's most recognisable and trusted voices.

Raised in a family deeply connected to collegiate athletics, Wendy developed a lifelong appreciation for the impact sport can have on communities. She spent more than two decades as the evening news anchor at KTVN Channel 2, earning both Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in journalism.

Beyond broadcasting, Wendy has helped raise millions of dollars for local charities and community initiatives throughout Northern Nevada. Her passion for storytelling, community engagement, and regional partnerships plays a central role in shaping Reno Pro Soccer's identity both on and off the field.

John Doyle - President of Soccer

John Doyle is one of the most respected figures in American soccer, bringing more than four decades of experience as a player, executive, and club builder.

A former United States Men's National Team defender, Doyle earned 53 international appearances and represented the United States at both the 1990 FIFA World Cup and the 1988 Olympic Games.

He became the first player ever signed by the San Jose Clash ahead of Major League Soccer's inaugural 1996 season, captained the club, and was named Major League Soccer's first-ever Defender of the Year.

Following his playing career, Doyle served as General Manager of the San Jose Earthquakes from 2007 to 2016. During his tenure, he helped deliver the club's soccer-specific stadium (now PayPal Park), established the Earthquakes Academy, and assembled the squad that won the 2012 MLS Supporters' Shield.

His contributions to the game have been recognised through induction into both the University of San Francisco Athletics Hall of Fame and the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame.

Today, John leads Reno Pro Soccer's sporting vision, overseeing all soccer operations as the club builds a competitive and sustainable future for professional soccer in Northern Nevada.
